Christian Formation in its essence is growing toward wholeness in Christ. It involves discipleship but does not stop there. At The Journey, we are being formed and discovering what it means to “…in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.” Ephesians 4:15.

I serve as the Director of Christian Formation and yes, my husband is Brent, the pastor of The Journey. We have the privilege of serving together on staff. We have raised 5 boys and currently enjoy an empty nest. We are also blessed to have girls in the family as our second and third sons are recently married. I completed my Masters of Arts in Christian Education in May 2008 and am now pursuing ordination through the denomination. I have been involved in the church all of my adult life, mostly in ministry to children. I am honored to be involved in the growing ministry of Christian Formation at The Journey.
