"God doesn't need me, but He wants me," these words have echoed in my head and my heart for some time now. Accepting Jesus into my life at the age 11 has taken my life in a direction I could never predict. Living the simple life in small-town Valley Center, my life wasn't always simple. But knowing that God wants me in the good times and in the bad means the world to me. With the amazing blessings of marrying my wife Leah, the birth of our first child, and doing what God has called me to do, being an adult is pretty awesome. Being the youth pastor at the Journey has been great, challenging, a blessing, and sometimes chaotic, but I love it. How cool would it be teenagers growing more in love with their God, and growing together as a group! So that we can take this journey together, and realize we are never alone.
